NYC - YSL Large Muse in White

If you like that particular bag in white, get it in white. I don't think you sound as though you have too many white bags.

I just bought one in brown. I think it's a great color - rich and dark, almost black. In fact, when I was in the store I thought it was black until they brought out a black one for me to compare. The SA advised me against the white because it's easy to get dirt on and hard to clean (being buffalo skin). But it really depends on what kind of handbag user you are. If you are careful, get the white. Otherwise, brown over black.

Wait to get the white Muse if you can, it's beautiful. Don't sell the Ivory Paddy or the White B-bag those are really beautiful too and hard to find! I think they're classic bags so, they'll always be "in" year after year. By the way, how can you think the black Muse is to conservative for you ....look at Madonna with one!

What size muse does Madonna have in these photo's?

Madonna and Lohan are both carrying the oversized Muse. The only celeb I've seen carrying any size other than the oversized is Michelle Williams. She has a black large muse.

Nope, its brown. And yes, the medium does fit comfortable on the shoulder but its really too small for such a shape.

I have to disagree about the straps fitting "comfortably" over the shoulder. The straps on the muse will fit over your shoulder, but if you want to wear a coat with the bag, it will be a tight fit. And if the coat has any volume to it, then the bag is not going to fit over your shoulder.

i agree - the straps definitely don't fit comfortably over a coat. it doesn't even stay....

I say get the Muse anyway regardless of whether you already have two white bags. Each has its own characterisitics and different subtleties. I'm sure you won't regret it.
