Hi ladies!! I’m in NYC and I made a purchase today that I wanted to share! It’s the Ophidia GG supreme in the larger size. I haven’t seen any IRL pics of this bag on tPF so I thought some other people could benefit from some photos!

I have my pochette metis here with me so I compared it for size. I also wore it on the middle hole (of 9) as well as the longest option which gives me the crossbody option, even thou it’s on the high side. I’m 5’4 and have a pretty short torso.

It’s a GORGEOUS bag and the perfect size for me. I have to carry medical supplies everyday, but otherwise just carry essentials so “middle of the road” sized bags like this one are perfect for me.

I just come from trying this in the store and I am going to get it as a birthday present. Can’t wait. It is perfect for me, and my fav from the Ophidia line so far (love the new pouch too though). Love the 70s vibe and it will be just so practical. I like this size most worn as a clutch, and as a shoulder bag. But it is great that it also has the option to be worn crossbody.

Lovely bags! Do you find that the PM and Ophidia fit about the same amount of stuff? I am eyeing the Ophidia too - the style is the same as my vintage bag from the 80s that I got from my aunt, which has held up so well after 30 yrs! My vintage is a tote but I’m looking for a crossbody. I love that they brought the style back and want to snatch a new one up. IMG_1004.jpg

Hi! yes, it definitely holds what the PM holds. I would say it probably could hold at least 30% more than the PM. Reason being, there's no dividers that take up space and dictate how you can place the items in the bag. It's just one huge rectangle, ha! If anything, my items kinda just roll around in there since there's so much room and really no structure to keep the items in one spot like the PM, but having "too much" space is never really a bad thing! I also love that it gives you a ton of space while still be relatively thin from front to back. It's not cumbersome to wear as a crossbody but still holds a ton while remaining light! I am hoping it will hold up well like your vintage, especially since they use coated canvas now as opposed to regular canvas on the older bags? (dont quote me on that, ha!)
