Nyc fall sample sale starts nov 17

So..... I take it there won't be a special "TPF night" the first night like there was at the Spring sale?
Hi Ladies.
I am new to TPF and just discovered RM a few months ago. I would like to attend the NYC sample sale, but have never been to any kind of sample sale in my life, despite living in Manhattan for 4 years. So, do you have any tips? Should I get there early, mid-day, the first day, the last day? Are the prices 10% off retail? 90% of retail?? Is it a crazy catfight at these things? I'm not very aggressive...but will hold my own for a good handbag deal!

Lol! I got the email during my Contracts class and I was so distracted since then!
I told my suitemate, who got super into RM after Fashion's Night Out, and she's super excited to go! I think we're going to go Wednesday night after class! BUT OMG if there is a tpf night on Tuesday that's PERFECT! I get out at class at 11.30am on Tuesdays!
This is bad since it looks like it's in SoHo, which means shopping galore!
Any local tpfers going this year?
