Purchased a mini last Friday and it wasn’t shipped out yet due to snow storm.. I don’t know if my bag was stolen. If it was, I would need to wait again for the replacement..
Waited for months to purchase the bag ☹ on the other hand, praying no one was hurt

Was at the boutique earlier today. My SA said nobody was hurt (thank heavens!) and that the stolen stuff were floor samples/displays.

I was in the NJ store on Friday AM and this so explains all the extra security. I been so buried at work and missed the news so I did not hear about this until I visited my parents in NYC yesterday when it came up in convo. So scary and glad no one was hurt.

These robberies are happening across the country. They do it in downtown Chicago and the nice suburban mall.
I guess there will be a lot of good deals on Ebay soon.

It’s sad to see this but lately I am not so surprised at how bad this world is becoming. I am happy to hear no one got hurt.

Seeing these stories since last year about all the high end boutique robberies makes me wonder if the resell websites are doing anything to make sure they aren’t buying and selling stolen merchandise. I’ve noticed there are a lot more bags and SLG’s being sold online without the authenticity cards. If they aren’t reaching out to the designers to check the serial numbers Chanel and the other companies might have a case against them.
