I’m biased as I’ve got the black, but it was a tough decision between that and the nut as it’s really lovely too. Have you thought about the blue? I’ve got a medium in that colour and it gets a lot of use x
i have wanted the NUT color for so long but i caught the black on sale last year and grabbed it.
i hope the new small size comes in NUT so i can get it.

I have the small crossbody in nut and it is a great neutral - I'd say go for nut as it really suits the Marcie style of bag.
Concerned about color transfer as one poster has mentioned. Any problems with that?
The resin glazing will start to crack. Go to Yoogi’s or Fashionphile, look at the Marcie’s and they will comment on the resin glazing. It’s the sealed edging on the bags. The black is less noticeable when it starts to crack IMO.
If you wear dark jeans a lot it will transfer onto the back of the bag if it rubs against your denim. That’s not just with the Marcie though, it’s really any light colored bag.
my Marcie gets a lot of non-pampered use. i've no issues with the glazing, in fact that's news to me
I’ve had my Marcie about 1.5 years. I️ rotate my bags so she’s not used daily. I haven’t had any issue with color transfer, but I️ don’t wear extremely dark blue jeans. I don’t think the leather and/or color is prone to color transfer.
