I wouldn't worry about the post being bent, you should be able to just gently push it into a straight post again. It happened to a pair of mine.

Yay! I am so happy now! I really love them, now only if I didn't get nice red ears from wearing earings. I will suck it up though. A little purple will highlight the c's

It should be here Thursday, weather permitting. We just had a nice little blizzard and the news is calling for more snow starting tomorrow. I am praying the roads are ok thurs because after this many days stuck in doors with bored children I deserve my v-day gift!

If you don't want to risk breaking the post, take it to either a jewelry store or an eyeglass place. They warm/heat the metal (they do this with the parts of glasses that need to be bent back in place) and the heat allows the metal to move without as much force.
