Not Sure Where to Start...Looking for Hermes Card Holder

I am very very new to the Hermes forums. Infact, I am looking to purchase one of my first accessory pieces. I would love to get a Karo, however, I hear they are impossible to find. So next on the list would be a cardholder in a turquoise or teal blue color. Is this a possible piece to find? If so, what store would be the best to find this color? Thanks!

As far as I know, karos aren't hard to find. The Houston store has several and they are by no means NYC or BH.

Just go to your local H and ask them to do a search for you.

Would I be able to order it over the phone and have it shipped? And the last question would be prices on a PM or GM model Karo...and then for a cardholder. Thank you so much for all your help. I want to atleast be somewhat prepared when I make a phone call!

Karos PM are if I remember correctly 720 plus tax GM 780 plus tax. In the US Karos seems rather easy to find, in other parts of the world they are however hard to find. Ask your SA to do a search for you . There are a number of different card holders so do take a look in the http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes-clubhouse/rainbow-of-colors-inside-your-h-bag-51749.html and you could probably see a few different styles and get some inspiration when it comes to colors etc.

Ditto on the karos being readily available in all sorts of colors and both sizes at my local stores. Are you in the US? Near a store?

Many people use the calvi card holder. It's not too expensive (compared with the karo).

I live in NY, however not close enough to a store. Will Hermes ship? I think I am going to go with the calvi.

Karo's are unbelievably difficuly to obtain in the UK, my SA eventually ordered me one from Paris, but who knows when that will finally turn up, she has only just got order confirmation through from them. You are very lucky if there is an abundance of them in the States

Yes, they are incredible hard to find in Europe. It's a mystery why that is.

I got my Calvi in Mysore for $260 in January. There was a price increase on leathers in February so it might be $275-$280 now. Boutiques will ship; shipping, I think, is $20 flat rate for SLGs. The San Francisco location has (maybe "had" by now) a Lagoon Calvi on 6/12/09.

Thank you so much for all the info. I just purchased the Picotin PM in Chartreuse. There is a cobalt turquoise calvi on ebay that I am lusting. $500 though! I will check on the lagoon in San Fran. Thanks for the heads up.
