So I was in Marshall's today...and they had some patchwork bleeker duffles. I picked one up and looked at it [I've never been a big patchwork fan, sorry to those that love them] put it down real quick. There was a woman in front of me and she picked one up looked at it and put it in her basket. My mom was with me and we were talking about purses, and I said that the only Coach ones that they had was "an ugly patchwork bleeker" I look up and see the woman that put it in her basket look at me and then look at the purse and then hang it back on the rack. I had to laugh. If she loved the purse she would have bought it...I wonder if she was just getting it because of the label....my sis and I had a good laugh about it.

Have any of you ever bought something that you didn't love just for the label on it??

I saw those also, I'm not a fan of patchwork but the Holiday ones they had were out right BLAH to me. I think its a compulsion thing, to get a bargain on an expensive item at those type of stores. I know I've picked things up because I saw what brand it was, then rationalized to myself that I'm just liking it for the brand not the style and end up putting it back.

I have thought about buying something that is a good deal like that...but then I realize I'm only going to buy it because it is a good deal on this particular brand, not because I really like it. I have to remind myself that I'd rather visit the Coach store and pick out the one bag I truly love rather than buy one just because it is there.

I've picked up coach bags before just because they were good deals, but I've never actually bought it. I take the time to really make sure I love one before I buy it, because they're so expensive and I want to make sure that it's worth it to me...

I can't buy something that doesn't call out to me. I would spend the money if an item still appeals to me after a weeks worth of thinking. It's the only way I know it's not an impulse buy. I am the worst in when it comes to deciding on eye wear and cellphones.

I have to admit... yes.
My first Coach piece ever...

I paid almost $90 for it only because it was the only Coach wallet at TJM
I returned it a week later... I never did love it and then also found out that I could get it cheaper on £ba¥

I once purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag that I didn't really like just because one of my "stylish" friend liked it. I sold it on *bay 2 months later and got a Coach instead :)

Usually if I hear a brand is really good, I'll look at their stuff. That's how I got into Coach. I used to see alot of fakes (I didn't know they were fakes, I was so young =[) and obviously, they were ugly. So I was like well I hear the quality is good, so I suppose I'll check it out.

2 years later...addicted & educated! And I'll usually buy something if I don't love it at first but I know it'll grow on me. And it usually ends up doing so.
