I just read that Conneticut got more 34 inches of snow. Is that the highest amount reported, or are there places that got more?

I've read higher totals (38-40") on other boards, but I'm not sure about official totals.

Been snowbound all day here in Ct, couldn't even get to work and I'm considered "essential personell"' ( nurse). This was the view from my driveway after shoveling. My street was impassible until the plow finally came around 6pm
