They are pretty nice. Not the best cut they have ever been, but a great price on branded merch. And you can always "trade them up" as well. Basically return and rebuy later during the sale.

I personally like that size, I found them to be a fantastic every day wear size and they are good quality.

Just an FYI--they come with WG backings, not platinum, unless that's been changed, so you need to call and ask for Platinum backings, I don't remember what those cost. But I gave them hell about that because it was not disclosed.

That is strange. Is there a reason they wouldnt automatically sell them with plat backings?

The reasoning is that the WG ones stay in shape better than the Plat. As in, the "spring" to the backing holds up better in the WG than in the Plat and will stay on your ear better over the long haul than a Platinum backing will bec Plat is softer. Stronger, but softer. I get the logic, but if I am paying for something labeled Platinum, you better be giving me Platinum parts and not White Gold.

You can trade them up? I usually feel bad returning things after more than a year. :)

That's usually part of their "sales pitch" actually. The only way they can "handle" the trade up is by accepting them as a return and then applying the amount you paid towards the new purchase. They've done this for like a decade or more. Ever since they have carried Kwiat. I actually was asked if I wanted to do that when I returned mine (I ended up having Bezel Set studs made bec my work phone does not play nice with prongs.)

My phone has the most insanely GIANT holes on the earpiece and the prongs fit right inside those holes just perfectly, to the point my phone would get stuck on my prongs and I'd have to carefully remove my earring from my ear to get the phone off my head! The prongs are not bulbous and actually are very nicely done, but my phone was tearing them up.

So wait, do I have this straight? You can start small amd buy the .33 studs now, return next year and trade up for a larger size and keep doing that until you end up with the TCW you want? Seems too good to be true!

yes unless they change the rules on that in the future or your pair is damaged in some way.
