Nordstrom Rack return policy?

I have bought some dresses from Nordstrom Rack and ... lost the receipt. Can I still return stuff to them without one? Or am I SOL? The website is mum on what happens to receipt-less returns.

You need the receipt and it needs to be returned w/in 30 days unworn and with tags attached. Some of their high end items they won't even return.

On the back of my receipt it says:
All sales are final on Designer and Fine Jewelry items. For other items we will accept returns for items within 30 days with original price tags and receipt.

If you bought with a credit card they can look it up in their computer. You can return without a receipt, you just have to take the lowest selling price if it went on sale and you get store credit unless you can talk them into a credit to your charge or cash. And they are not strict on the 30 day policy, most of the time they don't even look at the receipt date. It's true they won't return some of the designer stuff and certain handbags, but this stuff is marked on the tag "final sale" everything else can be returned including the jewelry from the case, I have never seen any of that marked final sale. It is really just all about who you go to there, some cashiers are nice and others aren't. If you're friendly and get talking to them they won't pay attention as much and then you'll get it returned.

NR is very lenient. I have returned some stuff that were past the 30 days and they still took it. Without the receipt, as DreamingBeauty stated, they can look it up on your debit/credit card and to credit your account. If you paid with cash, you would get store credit back.

Thank you for letting me know. I'll try to suck up to a cashier at our Nordstrom Rack. They seem to be a nice bunch of local college kids, so I think I may have a chance.
