Nordstrom Notes for big purchases

I have been saving up my Nordstrom notes from the NAS for a big purchase but have been going back and forth on what to get.
Has anyone else hoarded their notes in the past for a big ticket item? Share below!

I too have been saving notes for a long time. I’ve been converting them all to gift cards and have reached the point that I might finally be ready for that big purchase... like a designer handbag or a fine piece of jewelry...

I just went in for the Icon 10pts wknd and used all my Notes to put toward a Moncler coat! I wish I had enough to cover it all but at least it put a decent dent in my purchase . I like to save all my Notes and use once a year toward a splurge item for myself. Last year was a Chanel small leather good that an SA in SCP helped me procure. Sadly (or perhaps it's a good thing!), I don't think I'll accrue many Notes in 2021...

I've used my notes to purchase at Louis Vuitton in the Chicago Nordstrom store. Since LV never has sales, it felt good to "save" a little using notes.

This was quite a few years ago so I can't really say if anything's changed since then. You may want to call the Chicago Nordstrom LV to ask.

I recently used some Nordstrom Notes at the LV boutique in the downtown Seattle Nordstrom store. The SA said people call from all over the country to order items using their Notes or Nordstrom card. Something I'll definitely keep in mind for the future!

Before I put them on a Nordstrom gift card so I can use them later, I called the LV boutique at the Seattle Nordstroms & was told they do NOT accept gift cards over the phone but do accept Notes over the phone because they can look them up on your account. Just a heads up in case you are transferring your notes to gift cards.

Thanks for the heads up. I typically transfer almost expired notes to a GC as I save for larger/designer purchases.
