So my original engagement ring was classic princess cut solitare with very slim wedding ring that had few little diamonds. While back i lost my ring and just now trying to replace it. I don't care for traditional styles and my original ring was my DH taste, rather than mine. I prefer colored semi precious stones and something unique looking. One of my picks for new ring is 4 carat pink morganite ring and the other one is 6 carat emerald cut prasiolite set in white gold. DH says that noone will even know its a wedding ring because it doesn't look like one. To be honest i never seen any ladies wearing something other than classic wedding ring styles so if you are that someone who has a unique wedding ring, I would love to see it!

Post pictures of the morganite and prasiolite ones you’re interested in! I know morganite has become very popular as an engagement ring because it looks so nice with rose gold. Light green with white would be beautiful too! Tell DH that many people have colored stones these days as a wedding ring!

yes i thought so. While beautiful rubies and saphires never interested me
I couldn’t care less for rubies either.
Gonna show you something that I am currently in LOVE with! You can make it in any combination you want - one stone can be a diamond and the second - a morganite If you wish... ready??? Here goes...

I just meant as opposed to diamonds. That is what I thought the question was. The rings I listed are certainly not “classic” to look at (except, perhaps, Kate’s).
