my boyfriend has never had an alcoholic drink in his life. he just turned 30. when we go in a drinking environment he drinks a tonic water with lime. i’m not recommending that though because that tastes horrible. 
straight vodka tastes better! i don't drink anymore, so I just order a diet coke or water.

I LOVE club soda and lime, or San Pellegrino. They are so refreshing!!
When I am going out for cocktails I always ALWAYS start out with a non-alcoholic beverage if i'm going to drink at all. The first one always goes down fast, so better keep it booze free
