I was thinking of snipping the tags for the New Year on my recently purchased Nomad. I've been carrying various Boroughs for a while and have gotten used to the divided sides. The Nomad looks like a big cavern by comparison.

Anyone using a Purse to Go or other brand (Divide and Conquer) with theirs?

These seem wide for the bottom of the bag for the Nomad.

Thoughts please and recommendations for brands and sizes. I think a plain solid would be better too, i don't want color transfer to the beautiful Nomad interior.

Thank you!

I have a lot of different brands and sizes, but I ended up using a larger size Purse to Go....one of the newer ones since some of my older ones seem a bit flimsy. I usually prefer Divide and Conquer because they have more structure and different shapes that work better in satchels etc, but none of my D&Cs worked as well in the Nomad. I don't remember what size I ended up using, but the Purse to Go is large enough that it doesn't turn over in the bag and also small enough and narrow enough so that you don't see the outline of it on the exterior of the bag once you get it packed. If you go too large it won't fit right with the shape of the bag. I really use the organizer more for structure, though, rather than for the actual organization just because I don't carry a ton of stuff anymore. I carry mostly small bags now, so I didn't like the way the bag was sagging without a structured organizer. Anyway, it worked out really well! Now if I could only get the Nomad to stay on my shoulder (apparently an impossible task!). That's the only thing I dislike about this bag.

I have the Nomad, but I don't use an organizer. I do have one organizer, but I only ever use it for my Audrey tote, because of the open style dogleash clasp, to keep things from falling out (it's a zippered top style).

I don't use an organizer in any of my bags. I just posted a pic in the "What's in my bag" thread, if you want to see how I organize the things I do carry in my Nomad. My suggestion to protect the interior is to get different sized makeup bags and use them to organize. I did that for an LV bag that has white interior and isn't wide enough for an organizer. It works perfectly. I put a large and medium makeup bag in it and in the large one I carry my Filofax, skinny mini, pen pouch, phone keys and garage door opener. The smaller one carries my personal hygiene items. I'll take pics if you want to give you an idea.

I don't use an organizer. I carry wallet, makeup bag with all my little things, reading glasses, and lotion. In the zipper compartment is lipstick, gloss, chapstick, and compact.

Thanks, I just checked out the picture of the Nomad, I'd love to see your organization method. That black Nomad is beautiful!

Thank you. I don't often use bigger bags, but the structured hobo was so appealing. Also, I stopped carrying Coach for many years, but I can't resist when they use their beautiful leathers and these gorgeous interiors.

Pictured below is the interior with two makeup pouches purchased from Ulta. It's the Basics brand. It's made of the clear plastic, which will help with your concerns of color transfer. I'll add more pics so you can see how I organize the pouches. I can only add one image at a time on my iPad, for some reason. I apologize if the images are rotated. They tend to do that when I load from my iPad.

And then the way I organize the big one. In it, as I mentioned, is my planner (which I use as a wallet), skinny mini, pen pouch, normally my phone (charging and taking pics, I just slide it in front of the skinny mini), keys and garage door opener.

And last is a picture of the front of the large pouch. These work really well to keep your stuff separated and not in one large organizer. Also, the width is a perfect fit for the hobo and many of my larger bags. I use them in an LV Lockit and a Givenchy Antigona. It just works really well for me. Hope this helps.

Also. One last thing, with your keys in there, no worries of scratching the leather of the Nomad. She is definitely a beauty. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! Thanks for letting me share.

Thanks I actually live near an Ulta, unlike all the other stores people reference which we DON'T have, so I', going to check these out! I appreciate the idea!

I don't use an organizer in any of my bags, but everything is inside something else, if that makes sense. No loose items besides phone and keys. I always have a Large Legacy Wristlet for things like phone chargers, pens, eyeglass cleaning cloth, etc...then a Legacy Flat Zip Case for loose flat papers...a small wristlet for store credit cards and loyalty cards...and my beloved Madison Skinny Wallet for major credit cards, and normal wallet stuff. Those four items, plus phone and keys, are all I need to transfer when I change bags, and it keeps me very organized. Those items all also fit perfectly in the Nomad!
