Hello,

I have been eyeing out the Sac a Depeche a lot recently, and I told the SA I work with that ideally I would like a 27 in Black Box and GHW. She told me, as expected, that that is quite a rare combination but she would let me know. She suggested I just get the togo if it comes in.

I asked if she could order them but she told me that other stores wouldn't want to give up such a leather good like that and they'd want it for themselves (understandable), but I see a lot of people saying they can locate and send over large leather goods like this one. Is what she telling me the truth?

I have bought only one thing from her so far but each time I stop by we spend about an hour discussing product and making my wishlist etc. I feel she is a nice person. Does the 2nd-purchase-rule apply here in that since I have yet to buy 2 things from her she cannot fully commit?

finding a SAD in box is very difficult now given that (1) box leather is difficult to source for Hermes and that (2) only small number of customers like box leather as this is very delicate and prone to scratch and thus stores may be more hesistate to order leather goods in box leather for fear that it may be scratched just by displaying it and it will wait a long time to find a willing customer to buy the product.

If you really need a SAD in box leather, you may need to either develop a better relationship with your store and convince the manager to use a quota for leather goods to order this bag for you PROVIDED that box leather for SAD27 is offered in the upcoming podium, or you may look at ebay if you dont mind pre-loved.

Thanks for your advice. I have not even seen a picture of this combination so I knew it was a longshot. I feel like I am going to end up with togo though... I'm hoping any other leather version of the SAC27 comes first...

It is my understanding that H will no longer transfer any leather goods (including CDC bracelets) from store to store. That is definitely the rule in my boutique, don't know where you are located and if it is a different rule or not.
