I've been browsing for what's new out there recently and just noticed that some Louboutins on Neiman Marcus website are missing the Louboutin logo on the insole - the insole is completely clean like on the pictures below. Does anyone know what's the deal with this?

I've seen that before and it could be the site selling heels not licensed by Christian Louboutin themselves, so either the site had to doctor the photos themselves or provide a few modifications on the shoes. AliExpress does the same thing for their heels that resemble certain Louboutin styles. It could be a legal and licensing issue between the vendor and CL themselves, however. Every new CL shoe should have the signature golden stamp on the insoles.

Wow, I never thought a store like NM would do that! These shoes are listed as Louboutin... Very interesting! Thank you!

Yeah, it's a little surprising. Honestly hun, I'd steer clear of sites that sell these CL heels that provides pictures that look like that because you'll most likely end up getting fakes. Why show pictures of the Louboutins, yet, hide the actual brand from the heels, you know? Kinda shady if you ask me. Of course you could always ask for more information, too, directly from the site. This has never happened to me before, but I've read horror stories about it.

Neiman Marcus doesn't sell fakes. I don't think you have to worry. I've ordered many pairs of CLs from them. If you end up ordering them, let us know if they have the insole stamp or not

They might also just want to prevent the digital removal of the image by those who wish to copy it. I haven’t looked extensively but a quick review of the CL website shows the shoes there are displayed so you can’t see the full logo.

I didn't think they would. Everything they sell are legit and haven't heard any negative reviews about them or situations where they're called out for selling fakes. It just baffles me that they provided some pictures of Louboutin heels without the stamp which can be a little concerning from my perspective. I haven't bought from them, however. I usually buy my Louboutin heels directly from the official website, or some other various sites where the heels get authenticated like Poshmark or Tradesy.
