I was in the COACH Outlet in Niagara on the Lake and the dustbags are used as a "filler" for the insides of the bag. A customer was paying beside me as asked to keep the dustbag and she was told "no" that the store keeps them now; they are no longer given to customers. Is that normal for Outlets?

Interesting, i have always been able to keep dustbags from the bags if it included them?? they are only in the retail/delete bags however.
Dustbags from the outlet are hit or miss for me. Sometimes the bags have them, sometimes they don't.
I was told at the Outlet some time ago that they were not giving out the Dustbags anymore. However, I continue to get them but it could be because I'm a frequent shopper. When I purchase a FP bag from the Outlet (aka delete), most of the time the dustbag is NOT in the bag. The SAs will either go in the back and get me one or ask another SA to go get me one. No idea what they do with them if they don't give them out. I know FOS can be hit or miss.
Only deleted bags from the full priced stores come with dust bags, and they should be given to the customer if they are purchasing a delete. I have never heard of that.
Speaking of 'filler', do some of your stores empty out the bags before putting them in the shopping bag? I tell them to keep it in there, they can search if they want to for theft purposes, but I want the filler to keep my bag's shape when storing it. I've had a couple of SA's do that, and I stopped them.

In the past, I have had to ask for them occasionally, and was always given one; otherwise, my FP deletes always came with a dust bag-but it's been a while since I bought a FP bag at an outlet.
I don't get why they would want to keep them anyway, they're so slippery and wouldn't really bunch up well enough to make a decent filler. You'd have to have 20 dust bags to decently stuff a larger bag. Bizarre.

I just bought a delete bag at the Pismo Beach outlet yesterday and the dustbag was included. I have never heard otherwise.
I only frequent one Factory store and yes they always 'gut' the bag however i have always been given(left) the dustbag if the bag had one.. I've actually never bought a delete without and am given dustbags for fobs purchases too. You make a good point on the fillers stuff... maybe next time i will ask to have it lol
The deletes I've purchased came with dustbags, except for one. I was told that they don't all have them, but I mentioned that to an SA at an FP store when I was ordering something and she said "what size do you need"? Then she went in the back and came out with one for me.

Most of the time, FP deletes have dustbags. I once bought a FP delete from an outlet -- it did not have a dustbag inside. I asked the cashier for one and she said only bags from retail stores have dust bags. I explained that my bag was a full price bag. She then said they didn't have any extra. I was kinda annoyed but accepted it as part of the outlet experience.
They are always really good about keeping the dustbags in the bags. If you want one and they have them available they are more than happy to give you one. My Teal Whiplash did not have one and she went in the back and dug up a large size one for me, no questions asked.
