Nightingale Owners: Need Your Help!

Randr and I have been struggling to authenticate an all leather nightingale.

She needed a photo of the hardware connecting the strap to the bag, showing the engraved logo. Below is an example of what she needed to see.

There is a nightingale in question and it doesn't seem to have this engraved logo.

Does anyone have an authentic leather nightingale that does NOT have the engraved hardware?

Mine is engraved, on both ends of the strap.

Just checked mine. It's engraved on both ends, but only on one side (i.e. the reverse side of the hardware pictured above is NOT engraved).

My small Gale in lamb is also engraved on both ends on one side.

I never noticed the engraving before but I just checked mine...both sides engraved

Thank you ladies for letting me know. Randr checked all of hers and each 'gale has engraving on the HW. Sounds like the seller om question is trying to push a fake.
