Nick Lachey has rekindled his romance with Entertainment Tonight reporter Vanessa Minnillo.
The two had supposedly gone separate ways, but several sources report the couple looking cuddly at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City.
They definitely shared a room, a source told Us Weekly. They went up there with a posse, and the posse left shortly thereafter. The two reportedly also just spent two days in a villa near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The two checked out of the hotel together, according to Life & Style Weekly.
The reports have dashed, at least temporary, hopes by Jessica Simpson that the two might reconcile, a source tells The Scoop. Despite what shes been saying publicly, I believe she wants very much to get back with with Nick, a source says.
Yet, according to L&S, Lachey has made a last ditch effort to get back with Simpson. He called his Newlyweds co-star with an offer that they go to Hawaii to see if their relationship still had any life in it, an insider told the mag, which goes on to report that she turned him down because she wants her freedom more than she wants a second chance.

Seems like the fire has reignited between Nick Lachey and his former flame, MTV veejay Vanessa Minnillo. Both were spotted at Atlantic City nightclub Borgata’s Mixx on Saturday. People magazine reports that Nick, who was hosting an afterparty at the club for a boxing match, downed a couple of beers with his male pals for an hour until Minnillo made a VIP entrance with a “short shorts and black tank top” ensemble. The two apparently “locked eyes” before they “pumped fists” to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” They continued their prayer fest by dancing to Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” while holding hands and whispering into each other’s ears. At around 4 am, the twosome left the club with a “grinning” Nick letting his new lady-love lead the way to the hotel elevator… While Nick and Vanessa were seen putting the moves on each other, a report from Star says that Jessica Simpson and Jared Leto were seen heavily flirting in New York. After partying hard at nightclub The Plumm, Jared headed down to lounge Double Seven where it seems Jessica was expecting a visit from him. “Jared went right over to be near Jess and sat down next to her. They were talking very closely,” says an eyewitness. Later on, the two turned up the heat when they were spotted “draped all over each other.” “It’s not like they were trying to hide it,” says a source. “A lot of people inside the lounge saw them openly flirting and couldn’t believe their eyes.” Well, then, guess it’s safe to say Nick and Jess are definitely over.

She's definitely above average and a lot of guys think she's hot, but I think it's her demeanor that bugs me. The way she talks on ET is so annoying that I *have* to flip the channel whenever she's on. I can't stand how she's always tilting her head to and fro, from side to side, peeking out of the corner of her eyes all cutesy, raising the one eyebrow, etc. Just so phony and unnatural! Some people come through on TV very sincerely, Vanessa doesn't....at least, for me.
