Hi! I am looking to purchase my next Chanel bag and looking for one with color-pink or red in mini rectangle or mini square. All my Chanel bags have gold hardware, and was thinking I would like silver this time around-thoughts on red or pink? I have posted 2 pictures of 2 I have my eye on-I would love your opinions and if you have any other recommendations. Thank you! IMG_0867.jpegIMG_0871.png

I added a pink last year with silver hardware and looking to add a red next! The pink is so fun to wear, I mostly pair it with blue and white outfits in the spring and summer time. I prefer pink with silver, I think it looks more fresh that way. The red is also a perfect neutral, goes with just about anything. In my head it will make the perfect pop of color for fall and winter months. I can't pick just one, I say get both lol.

pink and red are both staples and two of the hardest to acquire in your perfect shade due to various undertones in both red and pink. For example I perfer reds with blue undertones vs reds with orange undertones. I would honestly get the one that I found in the perfect shade.

Thank you for you replies that helps a lot! I was leaning towards the pink and you solidified it! I wish I could afford both right now because I think both of them are the shades I am looking for. AH! I think the mini rectangle is more desirable if I had to resell and can fit more essentials....would you agree?

Seems like you made your decision, and I think it’s a great one! I’d normally vote for red over pink, but in this case, I much prefer the pink. Enjoy your beautiful new bag!

I'm a huge red fan... in fact, most of my bags are red, black, or both! It's not just a fall or winter color, it's great year round! Summer is often featuring bold colors, and what goes better with picnics? And spring flowers, red works well with too- red tulips, etc. That's my vote.
