I think the "slim" is the same as the small.
In terms of comfort, it's not uncomfortable but it leaves a little dent in my finger when I take it off. Although I actually worry I may have gotten a size too large because the nail head twists downwards sometimes.
I think it’s still just the two sizes, regular and thin/small/slim. but this new small version will have diamonds on the nail head and end (rather than plain or full pave).

I got mine last month and love it! Here are a couple of pics: One making a toast and another sitting at a bar at an 80s party (coordinated with cheap Amazon bracelets.) I've been switching fingers it's on based upon how much my fingers are swelling or what I'm doing.

I haven't worn it all day, only when I'm "going out" for maybe four or five hours at a time. During those times I'm aware I'm wearing it in that it's not at all like wearing a traditional ring, but I love that. In other words, instead of like "yuck, this ring is annoying" it's more like I love it so much that it reminds me I'm wearing it. I don't know if that makes sense. I would not wear this ring as I do my others which you can forget you have on. I don't want the nail head getting scratched up from when I'm running errands, grocery shopping, etc. It's for special occasions, and when I put it on, it suddenly feels special.
