Here's a quick tutorial: Caviar - MOST durable, slightly pebbled texture and not soft and cushy so it keeps shape well. Lambskin - MOST delicate - can scratch easily if not careful but buttery soft Calf or deerskin - relatively durable, doesn't need too much babying and is usually pretty soft.
