Newbie Q- What are the differences usually in the bags from season to season?

I know they introduce some new colors and maybe the tags change, but other than that, does the look of the bag change? To me it looks mainly the same, but then I'm a newbie. Don't have a Bbag yet but thinking about getting it.

Many styles remain consistent from year-to-year like the city, first, twiggy, and work. Other styles have come and then been discontinued like the box and purse styles. There are several new styles for the F/W season, including the step. Obviously the colors change and the leather also varies a lot both across seasons and within each seasons.
