New York inventory question?

This may be a stupid question, but I've noticed sometimes there are identical items listed in Madison and Wall Street in the inventory thread. Do the stores have separate inventory but simply order much of the same basic bags, or do they share inventory and/or move pieces from one store to the other?

I've never really followed it up closely to notice that their inventory is almost similar...it seems that Madison has more but people here at tPF have better luck of landing a birkin by walking into Wall Street than Madison. It appears that Madison have built up their clientele and take the bags out only for their special VIP customers...although they say this is not true.

Yes they both have a curry kelly in their case.
It looked like they had lagoon and rose dragee stuff in their case as well. Almost identical things in both stores.
Except there is a hac 32 in troika there last week according to some pics.
