New Version - POCHETTE METIS 2019

Does anyone know anything about the "new version" 2019 pochette metis that has thicker canvas than before?? I believe it's the PMs from July/August 2019 onwards and it is marked with a "NV" on the SKU tag.

I'm mainly just curious because the very original pochette metis (from 2013) had a very thick/stiff canvas (people described it like a tough briefcase) - and then it had all these issues so LV made a softer canvas (Which is the one most of us know about) -- so i'm curious, did LV go back to the original canvas? or is it a bit different? I wish i could see it myself but alas no store near me has the PMs in stock

Hi everyone! I purchased a Pochette Metis in Monogram from 31st week of 2019, and noticed that the canvas on the inside of the flap extends down almost two full rows of print further than all the PMs I have seen online. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this? Contacted my SA to see if she has any insight, will be happy to report back.

There is a new model PM (with a new sku) but nobody noticed any differences yet as far as I know, this might be it.

Hi,
I just purchased my PM made 30th week of 2019, also new model with new sku, according to my CA. I don’t think the canvas on my bag goes as far down as yours. I’d be interested to hear from others as well.

Hmm interesting. Just checked my SKU tag and it does have NV in the name. No reply from my SA yet... But I am really curious about this longer flap canvas style, have not seen one like this yet!

I just checked mine! It has the extra canvas too and was made in the 34th week of 2019. I compared it to my Reverse and the Reverse doesn’t go as far down.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? Were there issues before? And is there any difference on the exterior "trim" that used to get sticky (I think the reason for the recall for bags from 2013-2015)?
