Does anyone have the new version?

I’ve never really been a speedy girl but I need something a little more casual and something less structured than what I usually have for our next vacation.

I do currently own the fall for you in noir but I’ve come to see it’s not quite me with the pink LVs so I’m looking for a replacement.

Amy mod shots or pros and cons would be most appreciated

I have the new Empreinte speedy b25 in black and it is one of my workhorses ! Gorgeous bag. I have the canvas one as well and the pros I could see are 1) wider opening compared to the canvas version, and 2)the strap is super duper soft and comfy. In terms of structure, I can make it squishy (I like wearing my speedies squishy against my body crossbody - I know not everyone likes this look).
I can’t think of any cons but I do think Empreinte scuffs a little easier on corners compared to canvas and epis but it’s still a very hardy material (compared to lamb skin for example). My speedy hasn’t shown any scuffs but I’ve only had her for 2 months and this is based on my exp w the Empreinte NF. However, when I brought this up up to my SA, he told me LV offers repairs for scuff marks on Empreinte (just like Hermes) so this became irrelevant to me :). They don’t do this for canvas or epis. I hope it’s true lol.

It's my first empreinte and first Speedy - I love it! I think it matches everything and agreed on all the points @SN63 noted. Great to know about the corners and possible repair too. I've read how sturdy emp is but I'm still afraid of rain, sticky toddler hands, and baby stuff. Hopefully I'll gain confidence and wear her more. Let us know what you decide!

I totally understand your fear since I do want to keep my newer LV bags as pristine as possible too. I used to not be so careful with my older bags (before bag inserts were a thing! Now I can’t live without them) and while they held up SO well considering how I was using them, I don’t want to put my new bags through the same thing. Lol. My SA said it’s totally okay to wear Empreinte in rain! He said you can just wipe it off after like canvas and it would be fine.

I know Hermes restores their leathers like crazy (I have a 2005 birkin that basically looks brand new because of their “spa”) so I was super excited when my SA brought up about possible repairs :)

The black Empreinte neverfull mm is my work bag. I do think it’s more understated than some other models since you can’t really see the logos from far away. Here is the pic of my bag at work (minus the Alma right in front of it lol ) :). I’d say the most understated neverfulls are the epi ones but you’d need to go pre love route for that i believe.

I totally respect that (and I think you either like or don’t like a specific logo size - whether it be big, giant, or nano!) but I personally love big logos on speedys and neverfulls :). I honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy the big logos this much (was not really into them by looking at pics) until I started wearing them!

I personally think giant monogram look great on the canvas though.
