new to the forum-how to clean legacy hippie?

finally I am at the coach forum, Yes!!

I bought the 2006 legacy hippie bag and I absolutely love it. I got the camel (or caramel) color, sort of.
When I bought it, the sales girl told me very clearly that i should not apply any moisture or leather cleanser on it since it is made with vachetta leather.
With time, the bag does get dirty. Does anyone on this forum know how to clean it? I searched the forum and found some sad stories of damaging the bag without proper cleanning.

I am thinking a non alchol containing baby wipe.
I use those to whipe down my Chelsea pebble hobo and my soho flap and my black legacy shoulder.

I think the apple conditioner would be ok. Lots of people use this with great results.

yes, but don't use the cleaner on the legacy leather, just conditioner.

What color is your chelsea pebble bag? My chelsea pebble bag is a light cream/tan and the handles are FILTHY. The care booklet said to only use water with a soft cloth to clean, but that does nothing but make it worse....what brand baby wipe do you use? I showed my handles to the ladies at Coach and they just looked at me and shrugged their shoulders...
