Hi all, I'm new to LV and have just purchased a Mahina XL. It's freaking huge but I love it...still, I'm considering selling it and buying a large.
Can someone tell me what the code TH5007 indicates? Also, what was the first year for the large, and was that size affected by the glazing issue I've read about? TIA!

Hi MS. The Mahina hobo is a wonderful first LV. TH5007 is the date code for the bag. You can google search LV factory date codes for more info. TH is the factory location in France. (There are over 30 factory codes for France). The numbers correspond to the fact that the bag was made in the 50th week (first and third numbers) of 2007 (second and forth numbers). I don’t know the first year this bag was made— hopefully someone can tell you. The infamous glazing issues .were primarily for certain styles made around 2013-2015. But honestly, any bag any year can have glazing issues (some members here have mentioned this problem with bags outside those years and also a quick look at preloved listings will confirm as well). Congrats and enjoy

What an odd way to list the date! Thanks very much for the info, I totally love the style, and can see hunting down other colours!
