Hi ,,

im really a jewellery collector, i do not really like to pay $$$$ on a bag. But , now im thinking , i really want to buy a birkin bag or mini lindy , how can get it. I don't have a profile , my sister own a profile but as she said i can not use her profile because she has a target to reach in order to get a bag ( her SA told her )

Seek out for a well-loved pre-owned bag. (not something at a ridiculous premium from a reseller)
Look upon it as buying a well crafted item - like an antique, that will be passed on - not something second-hand.
Save yourself the angst and some money.
Then, if you really like it and want another, become a serious Hermes shopper.

You have a lot of reading to do:

Just substitute Mini Lindy for Birkin if needed too.

D you know that the mini lindy is triple the price if i buy it from a reseller ) and double the price if pre owned

Unfortunately at H, there aren’t any shortcuts, even for regular and long-standing customers.

@Obsessed_girl , if you’re not that into expensive purses and are not willing to pay over retail… why bother at all? You might find yourself looking at the bag at some point and thinking “I should have spent that on [insert piece of jewelry you really like here]”.

My advice is you should purchase from a reputable reseller. The prices will be over retail, but you will pay far more then that building up purchase history in order to get an offer. If you know you want a B or Lindy specifically,and don’t want other H items, just buy one directly . Good luck!

So what you are actually asking for is advice on how to get an in-demand bag at retail price, ahead of customers who have demonstrated brand loyalty, either by time as a customer or $$ spent?

You essentially have the same three options highlighted by @papertiger: 1) fly to Paris and try your luck there but this isn’t free or guaranteed to get a bag, let alone the exact one you want.

2) buy from a reseller and have the exact bag you want straight away, but at a premium.

3) go pre loved, which means you still pay above retail and may have to be slightly patient for the bag you want to be available.

(If you decide to use option 2 or 3 please get the bag authenticated, bababebi is highly recommended and has a website).

This may not be what you are hoping to hear and I don’t mean to sound harsh, I’m just trying to answer your question honestly…

Thank you all for your advice, I respect you all . I will not take any bag from , i know it sounds not fair if non Hermes client want to buy a birkin or mini lindy from the first time.

I do not like to ask them , i just want to ask you guys for any advice .
I think i will go for buying fine jewellery ans make strong relationship with my SA to get a bag.
It is a game , buy more to get a bag . We all understand and know how it works !

I did a little of research in YouTube, some of them said they said they do not have a profit, some said the profile is not linked internationally no one will ask. Just try your luck. In my city , there is nothing in display, no bag at all. I know there is for sure inside the store for clients. However, i was in holiday las month in Europe , i asked the man if it is possible to get a bag , he said yes but unfortunately i came in a holiday season which means no bag is available. He told me in January will get a shipment of bag from Paris. He said we do not look at profile. He suggested to come back in January. I hope to find a B
