Hi ladies! I’m new to the Hermès world! I have a few scarves and small leather goods, but I’m looking to purchase my first bag for my birthday/graduation present. (This will be in the summer hopefully when it’s safe!)

Only there’s a catch...I recently moved from Texas to Lousiana and there is no Hermès! I’m looking to purchase maybe a Picotin 22 or Opli clutch as my first bag and the website has limited availability.
Houston or Dallas are short flights away — is one store better to establish a purchase history with? I appreciate any advice and looking forward to learning more about the brand!

I love this question. I'm in Austin TX and I don't have a local store either. Leaning toward making the Houston store my "local" store because it's closer than Dallas but willing to work with Dallas if folks have a significantly better experience/and or a valuable sales rep. TIA!

That said, I'm not buying bags - I'm pretty much a scarf-only gal! So that's a consideration with regard to my value as a customer.

There's actually two opli clutches on the US website right now, and the US distribution center is open again Might take a bit longer than usual since they're implemented covid 19 restrictions.

I’m from Houston and love my SA at the Houston store. Find him to be friendlier than any other H store I’ve been in (which was in Asia). Send me any questions you have. Thanks!

I’m newer to H but have made purchases both at the Dallas and Houston stores (based in Houston). Purchase history is probably $2-3k. I’m just starting to ‘play the game’ to get a C18 offer. Who is your Houston SA and would you mind sharing what the offer situation is in Houston?
