Have anyone seen the new soleste with emerald cut?

Just wondering what the opinions for this new design vs the classis soleste with cushion modified brilliant

As my hubby has just gotten me the classis soleste and I just happened to see this on Tiffany website, I'm a lil confused hope my decision was the right one..

I love emerald cut diamonds but I prefer them without a halo.

I think the emerald cut one looks like a Harry Winston emerald cut diamond ring with a halo from the top view. I think a tPF member has one. It looks nice. The diamond would flash stronger than a cushion cut. It depends on each person's taste. Some people prefer the iced look (cushion) and others prefer the big flashes (emerald).

I prefer the emerald soleste versus the classic. The best is to see the emerald in person. If you just received the classic recently, I am sure Tiffany would allow you to do the exchange if you decide to go with the emerald.

I prefer the single halo over the double halo.

I don't usually like halos but I LOVE them with step cuts. I like the contrast... It's so pretty!

Anyway I have attached the soleste I have received from my hubby for our one year wedding anniversary

Somehow I feel that the double halo makes the ring bigger & more sparkly than a ring with the same carat weight center piece single halo.

Will try to take picture of the emerald soleste if I find it in store. Or if anyone sees it, pls do show us )

Thanks babe! Glad there are like-minded ladies around as it being resized now and I have yet to collect its certificate, I only know it is fvs2, centre stone 1.23 carat.

Thanks so much babe! Tiffany website pictures don't do justice to this ring! I thought about it, felt that maybe if i have gotten a 1.23 carat soleste emerald, it wouldn't have looked as prominent and as bling as this cushion soleste with double halo, after all step cut looks better in bigger stones so hopefully i will able to get the Tiffany emerald cut 3 stone ring for my 3 year anniversary
