I surprised my girlfriend today for our one year anniversary (which isn't until next month but i didn't want to wait).

It's a fairly new ring, i think it's been out for a week or so and this was her favorite. I was going to get her the Tiffany Blue Signature Ring in enamel but the SA said they chip often and they couldn't do anything once it was chipped. This one came out and she liked it better anyway and she loves rose gold. The only problem she has with it is that the ring is a size 7 and it fits great when she warm and it fitted great in the store but since its cold its pretty loose. Is there any temporary fixes for that? I looked into ring guards but looking for any more options.

Such a cute unique piece! I hope your gf enjoys it! Beautiful!

And don't worry about being early on the presents. It gives her something to wear the day of too!

I love this ring, it's so pretty! Congratulations on your one year anniversary! :smile1:

Would sizing the ring down make her finger uncomfortable in the summer? I've got rings that this happens to me with, but sizing down would make it uncomfortable for me in the summer when my fingers swell. If she'd be ok with a smaller size, I'd exchange it for one. Good luck!

Hrm. I did some searching and I found this thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/the-jewelry-box/ring-too-big-dont-want-to-resize-4758.html

I also kept reading that Claires (which is basically in ANY mall lol) should sell some rubber plasticy things that should fit on the bottom of the ring. Since this isn't a traditional ring and it's thicker, maybe take the rubber bit and flatten it inside the ring then have her put it on. It may look awkward when looking at the palm, but it should fit for when she wears it during the winter at least! (unless you want to size up for her to wear it on her middle finger...?)

Something like this should work, and it makes my crap description not so confusing lol. Maybe see if some place like Claries has them, or find them online, since they're sold out: http://www.amazon.com/Ring-Size-Adjusters/dp/B000ZF496Q
