Hi fellow TPFers

Did anyone notice the ring in the middle is a 4 prong round brilliant solitaire? Has anyone seen it in stores yet? What are your thoughts on it?

I personally still love the classic Tiffany setting with the long history of engineering and designing the first "clawed" solitaire when rings in the past were all bezel set (I read the history somewhere, I'll attach the link when I find it). Simple, classic, original. IDK but if I was interested in 4 prongs, I'd go for the classic Cartier 1895.

What do you think?

I prefer the 6 prong classic, since it makes the stone looks round and 4 prongs makes the stone looks more square-ish. It does not appeal tiffany to me at all.

It's beautiful! But doesn't scream "Tiffany" to me at all... Cartier, Birks, lots of people make this style really well too, kwim?

Yes exactly. It seems "unoriginal" anymore. Maybe I haven't seen it.. Maybe the setting is different?

I like 4 prongs with round brilliant too but this doesn't shout original Tiffany does it?
