From the Spanish daily newspaper "El Mundo":

"Lautem" is Latin for "made excellently". The bags are designed by the Spanish architect Elena García Silva, inspired by the Bauhaus movement, and 100% handcrafted in the Spanish small town Ubrique.

Apart from the online store (http://www.lautemshop.com/) They are sold in Madrid (La Fiambrera), Barcelona (La Basílica Galería) and Altea (Estudio Ji Design Shop), as well as in concept stores in London, Dubai and New York. Each bags cost around 600 Euro.

They do remind me a little of Delvaux; definitely statement purses, rather than offerings for the boho urbanite :p. With such sharp angles, I wonder how heavy and/or comfortable they are.

So what do you think, ladies?
