New Styles for F/W 2016

I'm going to start right off by saying that I'm NOT a fan of these new styles, but thought I would share what I have seen so far ..

Some of the new styles are very structured in nature ..

This is kind of cute, but looks a lot like the Givenchy Antigona IMO ..

But the ones that I really loathe, and .. a funny but true story, is that a group in Thailand tried to block Balenciaga from making these as they said that they were a copy of the common "grocery" bag!! :lolots: :giggles:

They sure do remind me of the cheap/plasticy bags that we used to pick up in Italy .. to use for Groceries or other items! NOTHING FANCY about that!

.. and last, but not least .. somewhat similar to what A. Wang started, a more structured bag with different colors, etc. The last one is kind of interesting (probably because it has the most 'slouch' of all of these )!!!

Wow, Ceejay, great work! You weren't kidding about needing a warning about the new styles. This is not the style I fell in love with, I really don't see myself using these styles in any capacity, although some of them look quite unusual and innovative. But there is the LOGO! That's not cool. I just hope he'll keep the moto line alive.

*Lakotan* .. you hit up on some of the same questions that I had.

1. Weight - I can't imagine that the super-structured bags are going to be lightweight, and that kind of flies in the face of the whole "Moto" line which has always been so lightweight in comparison to other brands (especially Chloe & Celine).
   
2. I can't even speak on the "grocery bag" line; I mean .. I can totally see why Balenciaga would be called out on that (sic) design!

At this point, I'm just hoping that they redeem themselves in the Moto 'colors' department!!!

The laundry bag - does anyone else remember Louis Vuitton doing this a few years ago?

Wow, i did see these bags on the fashion runway and thought... No, just no.

What about the new colours for the City bags?

Maybe I'm fashion backwards not fashion forward, but my reaction to every one of these is just, yuck. I get that structure's the thing and they have to innovate to stay relevant, but....

OMG i am shocked!!! You have so right!! This style reminds me indeed the bag i use at grocery store here in Italy!!! It's so unbelievable!!!

Sadly i don't like none of those new styles. I'll be loyal to the motorcycle style once again (and happily of course )

I have never seen a more unappetizing collection of bags in my life.
