New speedy. do i use apple conditioner and guarde on it?

i just got my mono speedy 25. so happy!!! should i treat it w/ apple conditioner or apple guarde before i use it?? will treating it leave an uneven patina?

I treated my Speedy 30 with Applegarde and it didn't affect the vachetta at all. That's what I love about this conditioner.

I "tan" the vachetta first, then Apple Guard condition it and then Apple Guard spray. Works great!
