New Serpenti full pave bracelet

I was at Bulgari in Vienna last week where the SA showed me the serpenti full pave bracelet. I got to see both the new updated and the original version. She did tell me the latter is being getting phased out for the new version so only ones left are those still sitting in stores.

There is both an updated with the new sizing and the design has changed with the older version being slightly “thicker” or more of the WG detail showing. Finally the inside coil has also changed from WG to titanium in the updated design. The diamond carat also differed for the bracelets but it always has pending on sizing but it is no longer 1 to 1 where the old S, M and L measurements differ from the new sizing.

Personally, I prefer the older version. The new one looked very thin. At this point any change or update reads as a cost savings by LVMH to me, so it is kinda gets off putting. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the design but would not be able to comfortably pay (nor could ever justify) the current prices. I would probably get a jewler to make it as a custom piece. (I know there are strong opinions about doing that, but in the end if you truly love the design why pay an 500% upmark for the logo. In the end it’s a diamond bangle).

Just another heads up, SA told me another round of price increases are looming. Around 5%…

Hi, can you tell from this pic if this is the old or the new version please? I was at the airport last week and was going to pick up the RG. They had 2 but both looked a bit off to me so I didn’t buy it…also felt much softer and more bendy than ones I tried on previously. It could be that many ppl tried it on and it didn’t feel new…

This is indeed the new version. A good way to notice is that the tail is rounded and thicker. Also the edges where the scales start is thicker on the new version. UGLY!

That’s why it felt off! I couldn’t put my finger on it, I went there ready to buy (tax free at the airport) but it just didn’t look right. Now I know, thank you!

Pity they changed the bracelet for the worse; maybe you can still find the older version for sale somewhere . Your vca bracelets are beautiful on you

Thank you. I am sure I can find the old version but I wanted it tax free from the airport 😂 I will ask them to prepare the old version if available for next time I fly. Here’s a pic of the old version I tried on in another boutique, this one feels sturdier and looks way more elegant.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me (my vision is bad) but I don’t see a major difference other than maybe slightly smaller diamonds in the pave? This is my bracelet from 2024 - did they debut the new one last year and we just didn’t catch onto it? I’m confused haha.

Version A = 10 settings per scale, which is what you have; the tail is also pointy.

Version B = 8 settings per scale, squared edges, rounded/thick tail and the underside has different inscriptions
