Hi there -
Was browsing the Coach website this morning and notice a lot of new styles, but specifically what caught my eye were the two new Rhyder styles...a Mini Rhyder 33 Satchel (Style # 36105) for $425 and a new crossbody (Style #36050) for $275. I love the color options of both of them. Disappointed that the 33 satchel has NO EXTERIOR POCKETS. The front exterior turnlock is just for show. Online SA said they would be arriving in stores by end of month. IMO, Coach.com does not do well at listing all of the details so I'll go in store to see for myself when they arrive. I love the dark hardware on some of the new pieces...not a fan of gold so I'm liking the change. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there - happy browsing!

The outside pocket is one of the best features of the Rhyder so that is annoying they don't have it on this version. I also doubt it has multifunction pocket(s), stressing the "s", because Coach keeps stating certain bags have both the zip and multifunction multiple pockets even on bags that don't have them. It is very deceiving and annoying.

Now that I have seen the Crossbody in the reveal thread, I am still curious about the 33 mentioned in this thread, and how many pockets it actually has.

The crossbody is a different bag than the one we were discussing, and the reveal is in a separate thread..... It is the 33 that doesn't have the outside pocket like the previous Rhyders. Just to clarify...

I checked out both bags at my local store. I ended up getting the small crossbody in gunmetal. It holds more than I expected.
They also had the Rhyder 33 larger satchel & under the little turnlock in the front, there is a teeny tiny pocket, although it was so hard for even the SA to get into it, we all wondered what you'd put in there. The 33 is a very nice bag; good size & styling. There is absolutely no reason they couldn't have put a zip or slip pocket on the back exterior. Even the SAs agreed. Oh well...

That design doesn't make sense. The regular Rhyder 33 has a pocket in the front and the zipper in the back. That's what I like about it. Crazy that Coach couldn't at least put a zipper in the back. Geesh!:confused1:
