How nice it would be for store managers to reveal to regular and loyal customers what's coming, so we can declare interests in such bags.

It's such a win-win situation for both parties. Guess demand will always be more than supply, and that's why they'd refrain to do so in Asia??? :laugh:

Congratulations! You will love, love, LOVE this choice!! I just got my 30 cm etoupe Birkin with palladium H/W in swift. It is an absolutely yummy color that goes with nearly everything! :love:

congrats, g! i think the wait really depends on your order. typically exotic skins take longer to produce, assuming the dyes & skins are up to par. and if you throw in some customization, the waiting time lengthens. the longest that i've heard so far was 5+ years for a 40cm black lizard birkin & 3+ years for a regular skin birkin that had a contrasting lining. but i also heard of a croc birkin arriving 3 months after the order was placed. so who knows... i guess just be prepared regardless.

I'm guessing your bag will arrive in autumn since red is a fall color.

I didn't order a bag this podium since I'm still waiting for 2 bags which I ordered last July (30cm BIRKIN IN orange ostrich with gold hardware which might take a while and a 25cm sellier Kelly in black box with ruthenium hardware).

Let me see what I can do, A. I'll see if my cell phone camera can capture the color. My digital camera has gone on to that place where really expensive techie-stuff goes to die and I haven't had a chance to replace it.
