New monogram canvas texture?

Hey everyone! Not sure if anyone has asked this before - but I recently added a pre-loved Speedy 20 made in 2022 and its canvas feels completely different to the old canvas I have (Pochette Metis, Palm Springs Mini, some vintage pieces). I had it authenticated by two different places and it's passed through both.

It feels very squishy, more matte and rubbery (almost sticky?). Has anyone else noticed this in their bags that were purchased in 2022?

Other than the texture, it's absolutely the cutest thing and I love it!!

That's also true thanks! I've been watching so many reviews of the speedy 20 but no one ever mentioned how squishy this little one is.

My DE neo noe canvas feels the same as you have described. Rubbery and more squishy. It's been 2 years since I've had it and I haven't had any issues with the canvas. I think certain canvas bags are made that way.

my Mono Speedy 20 is as you described. Squishy

The canvas these days is definitely more smooshy and springy than older canvas from 10+ years ago.
