Karmen - I also posted this in the "Feedback" subforum, but I really wanted to share it here to.

I'm so excited, today is my birthday, and my DH gave me this beautiful MK purse that I had fallen in love with a couple of months ago. I'm soooooooooo happy. Up to now I've mostly collected Coach, this is my first time with a Kors. I love it, the leather is GORGEOUS, the color is rich and beautiful, I love the gold hardware, and the size is perfect for me. :yahoo:

well I'm not Karmen but I know she'll find this thread. It's a beautiful bag, Ive seen it in Dillards and you are right, the leather is tdf. Plus what a beautiful purple, happy birthday! congratulations!

Thanks everyone - I started to have second thoughts about the purple and considered exchanging it for the black one instead. But the purple is the one I fell in love with, and I definetely LOVE IT :love: .

I was in a high end department store in Montreal looking for Coach purses, and I spotted the purple MK from across the room and it really was love at first sight. I walked over to it, tried it on and knew I had to have it. That was Thanksgiving weekend, and then when an MK box showed up under my Christmas tree, I had a feeling my darling DH had tracked it down at the MK store for me. So on top of loving the purple, it was a gift from my DH who kept it in mind for my birthday - so that's another reason to keep it - that makes it even more special.

But I'm not one for changing my purse everyday, and I fear it will sometimes clash with what I'm wearing. But another black leather purse? Sigh, so boring. I think I just talked myself into keeping it. I like to switch my purses about every 2 weeks, so unless the fashion police come running up and arrest me for not matching my purse to my outfit, I guess I'll just carry it and love it for all the reasons stated above.

Thanks for letting me use the forum to work out my issues with my purse. ;) And thanks for all the feedback, it's great to be able to come on here and share - not a lot of people "get it" when it comes to purses!! :p
