As the title indicates I am a new member. First I would like to say hello to everyone. Seems like you gals have a great forum going on here and I look forward to being a part of it.

I am looking for advice about a present to my fiance. I want to buy her a rolex but I don't know which one I want to get her. Moreover, I only know a few people who have them and they are all guys. I was wondering if any of you had pics of or had a rolex you wouldn't mind posting so I can get an idea of what they look like. She has no idea that I am getting it for her birthday so I hope she isn't a member of this forum although I doubt it.

Anyway, most of her jewelry is gold and her engagement band is gold so it would probably look nice. However, I am welcome to any and all possibilities.

Thanks in advance and if this is a women's only forum, feel free to kindly let me know and I won't bother anymore. I just figured a woman's forum is the best place to get the best advice regarding this kind of a gift.
Thanks!
Mich

Welcome to TPF! The rolex will be an amazing gift. I'm partial to the two-tone. Are you thinking of doing ladies size or mid-size? It seems that the mid-sizes have been really growing in popularity. I like the jubilee fluted styles. There are many threads here with pictures if you do a search!

I like the two tone too. Actually I have in a round about way made references to mens, midsize, and ladies size watches on women just to hear what she thought to see if I could feel her out. Based on what she has said I think that she is more of a ladies size watch wearer. I like the way midsize looks on a woman but she doesn't. Given that the gift is about her and not me, I am going to get her something I believe she will like.

You mentioned that there are alot of other threads on this forum about rolex. That's a good start. Thanks for the feedback and advice!
