Hey KittyKat65 - I don't think anyone was dissing your shoes by not responding! 
Just FYI, there's a dedicated thread here in Glass Slipper for posting new shoe purchases - while many people's posts there also go un-commented by others, I *always* look through that thread when there's something new.
As a "shoe person" I've often been a bit surprised that there isn't more activity in this forum on tPF - I try to participate where I can but sometimes it seems that all the threads have a "recent post" from ME on them when you're viewing the index, and that can seem a little, uh, excessive?
For the record: Your new sandals are awesome!!!
I don't own any Lanvin but I've eyed them for ages, and those slides are very practical and look really comfortable! I'm glad you posted.
