I just got the Kelly Diamond ring in yellow gold from the store. Although online said Made in France, the ring is Made in Belgium. No doubt on the quality of the ring, but a bit of surprise with wrong advertisement. Does Hermes start making jewelry in Belgium now?

I had the same situation the other way around with Delvaux. Belgian brand that was supposed to be made in Belgium and was made in France. Back when this happened I talked to Delvaux SA and they told me that they shifted production to France and kept some very specific things made in Belgium…

I wonder if this is one of these cases. If you feel uncomfortable you could enquire more info to your SA or if it is we store to customers services.

I suppose they could send you one who is made in France.

I would at least contact them …

I know it might seem silly but provenance is important to me too. I have no problem in made in Belgium but some clarification would make me more confident.

Maybe it the typo on the website? They may forgot to update it to Belgium for Yellow Gold?

My SA has checked. Apparently all the rose golds in store were Made in France. Yellow golds and White golds were Made in Belgium. So weird.

Thank you. Unfortunately mine was a world wide search so it is the only one in my size.
