New JUC Pavé diamond colors - what the ...?

What were they thinking? Rose gold with "brown diamonds", rose gold with "pinkish brown diamonds" and white gold with "gray diamonds". And, they're more expensive than the classic pavé ones, to boot.

Rose are $55,000; white is $58,500.

I would agree - more vibrant coloured diamonds would be STUNNING!

... but I wonder if Cartier felt that would turn off the "average" buyer... neutrals are typically safer when trying to appeal to a broader audience...? :shrug:

There was never a truer statement. These are probably the diamond rejects that they couldn’t set in engagement rings.

forget the diamonds, my eyes went straight to how "messy" & "atrocious" the settings are.....I guess diamond rejects and setting rejects are the look

Interesting. Best way to know, go in and try them on! (And if anyone does, please come back with photos!)
Perhaps they would suite a variety of skin tones or compliment the skin undertones of more ethnicities?
