I was lusting after this necklace for awhile online, and DH was so sweet to get it for me for Mother's Day. I think I love it... I'm just not sure. Honest opinions please... what do you think?

It was hard to capture what it looks like it in a picture. It's a Mother of Pearl painted blue, with a cushion cut clear quartz on top. It has a very dreamy look.

Very pretty. Looks like the stone really stands out on you. I haven't seen this combination yet...will have to go to NM to have a look.:smile1:

Very nice of your DH too.

BTW, I saw a Gucci ring that seemed to have the combination of a faceted stone with a mother of pearl backing. It was really different. I like having more unique pieces.

I like Ippolita's wonderland collection - your necklace is beautiful. It's a nice size and color on you.

I have an Ippolita bracelet that's bronze turquoise, which is similar -- a flat stone with clear quartz on top. I think the combination gives depth and makes you take a second look.

Now you will have to collect a wonderland bangle or ring or earrings or .... :graucho:

Thank you girls for your feedback. I've been wearing the pendant all day, and I love it more and more each time I look in the mirror and see it in different lighting. It really glows.

La Comtesse ~ You definitely have to go to NM and check out the Wonderland collection. All the pieces are stunning. And, that GUCCI ring your describing sounds so pretty!

alisonanna ~ your bracelet sounds gorgeous! I love the look of the clear quartz on top of another stone. And, I think you're right -- I need more Wonderland now! I sense the beginning of a new addiction. :)
