New iPad app does not work

Yes, the iPad app doesn't work. You can't hit next page, or the reply (arrow) buttons. Also has an error with the push notifications. Doesn't work! 
Hmm, good thing I checked here before I updated! What about the iPhone? Any issues there? I'm always hesitant to do updates cuz it seems like whenever an app is updated, it no longer works!
(The biggest reason I hadn't updated tPF is cuz I don't like the new icon!)

I hate it too. I wish I didn't update mine. It blends in and I can't see the app. It also takes forever to load so I might just go back to surfing on safari.
Nothing works in my iPad app (not that everything worked before), but it's even worse now. I can't scroll, press buttons.. And I still had the problem from the last update of not being able to post when the post is a single line.
A couple of weeks ago, I even lost all my subscriptions, even though I can still see them on my android phone app. I posted the question here. I believe and I got squat for an answer.
