I think it's normal. They will still sell merchandise regardless of the age if it's new. I just got a Lumi about 2 months ago? Anyways the date code it for the 51st week of 2013.

Very pretty wallet. I bought my emp speedy infini in May. The first one I bought and then returned due to the piping looking caved in was a 2012. That LV boutique exchanged one of their 2012 with a 2013 from another LV at Neimans in the same mall to make me a really happy camper. I think they sell what they have.
