New Hermès vs reseller vs Vintage prices

I’m new to the forum and I have some questions about Hermès prices.
What’s the difference in prices buying for ex a birkin from the store and buying from a reseller?
And how come a vintage birkin often is more expensive than a new one?
Can someone help me with some info on this.
